Conclusion

If you are a budget-minded gamer or enthusiast, the lower price of Kingston’s new HyperX 3K SSD is very attractive.  Unless you do an large amount of write activity or plan to hang on to the drive more than 5 to 10 years, taking advantage of the lower pricing of the HyperX 3K SSD is a no brianer.  This solid-state drive combines premium 3000 program-erase cycle Toggle NAND with the second-generation SandForce controller used also in other higher end models of SSD. Its lower price means more users can experience ultra-responsive gaming, multitasking and multimedia computing power. As seen in PCWizKid's video review the HyperX 3Kcan load games and applications faster, increasing frames per second (FPS) for an improved gaming experience and allows for quick transfers and edits of large media files. HyperX 3K provides high-speed SATA Rev. 3.0 (6Gb/s) performance and blazing fast random and sequential read/write speeds.   PCWizKid however would have like to have seen a USB 3.0 connection on the external drive enclosure provided to take advantage of high tansfer speeds, however the SandForce DuraClass technology provides the latest data integrity protection for ultimate endurance over the entire life of the drive which is a great bonus . PCWizKid also liked how the HyperX 3K SSD comes in a sleek, black and aluminum case design, accentuating the look of any power user’s system consistant with tthe HperX DDR3 memory we have reviewed in the past.  Click here http://tinyurl.com/lgs6swy for the latest pring on the Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB SSD.
