Maybe your room is hot, or the cooler is broken. My max temp on full load for 10 minutes was 52 C :?

You have some extra fans in your case or not?

Well I have a stock MATX PC. I have two fans. 1 For and case and the other from the heatsink (my CPU) My case fan spins @ 1600+ RPM and my heatsink fan spins @ 1100+ RPM
On idle my CPU is @ 17-20 C

I know I didn't have to provide all that info but I did incase you wanted to know :D

I recommend getting a new CPU Cooler, never hang with the stock cooler if you really want to go sure ;)

I'm not sure, but something similar happened to me some months ago with my Phenom II X4 965 3,4GHz ;)
At first it ran cool and quiet at 32-36°C.. the next day it raised to a max temperature of 51°C with the stock cooler
Then I got the Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler and my idle temperatures were about 35-36°C and my max' were like 43-46°C :D

So if you have the money for a new CPU Cooler then I'd really recommend trying that, but before try taking out your heatsink and blowing the dust out of it and then replace the thermal paste with newer one or try a different thermal paste
PC Specifications:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T BE @ 3.2GHz
Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) 1333MHz CL9
Western Digital Caviar Black 1000GB 7200rpm 64MB SATA3
Gigabyte Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5
ASUS Crosshair IV Formula 890FX AM3
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

I do have the money, and I will buy an aftermarket cooler, but right now I'll have to wait till my warranty goes off (14th Dec) My temps aren't bad now though ;)
